Gem

Gem is a booster NFT item that is used to upgrade a user’s Battle-To-Mine Efficiency.

Users can receive Gems via cutting a Stone or buying directly from BattleFi Marketplace.

A Gem has a total of 36 levels. The higher the level gets, the higher the gem stats are.

The level can be upgraded by BFT (Governance) and/or RBF (Reward) tokens.

It can be used by adding to 4 available slots in a Premium Battle Pass (each slot can only be equipped with one specific gem type).

If the users don't want to add the Gem to their Premium Battle Pass, they can sell it directly on the BattleFi Marketplace.

Types of Gems

There are 4 types of Gem and each one enhances a certain stat, including:

Reality Gem: Enhancing the Generation Rate (Battle Power Star - BPS refill time) and the Hard Cap (the maximum amount of BPS can contain) of the Premium Battle Pass.
Power Gem: Enhancing the Battle Point Conversion Rate (the process of converting Battle Point to RBF tokens) that users will receive from Challenges and Tournaments.
Luck Gem: Enhancing the Loot Box Drop Rate (the possibility to receive the Loot Box for BattleFi activities).
Insurance Gem: Enhancing the Battle Point Restore Rate (the process of receiving more Battle Point in a Challenge/Tournament where the user is on the losing side).

Gem has 5 levels of rarity:

The higher the rarity of a Gem is, the more booster stat that Gem provides to the user's Premium Battle Pass.

A Legendary Gem promises an extremely valuable boost of Battle-To-Mine Efficiency and a valuable trading value.

Rarity levels can be upgraded by a Fusion Mechanism via NFT Alchemy process.

If a user has too many low-rarity Gems, they can use a Combination Mechanism via NFT Alchemy process.

Notes: The Premium Battle Pass cannot have two Gems of the same type in its possession at the same time.
