Challenge System

The Challenge System is the core system of BattleFi whereby BattleFi Users can "Play-To-Earn" and "Donate-To-Earn".

There are 2 types of Challenges: Private & Public

  • Private Challenge: restricted to public access. BattleFi users can only join a private challenge in case they receive an invitation link from the Challenge Host/Team Leader themselves.

  • Public Challenge: open for the public and individuals or teams in BattleFi to freely join from the Challenge List.

What to do?

Players can create or join in challenges of eSports games supported by BattleFi (Dota 2, LOL, CS:GO, PUBG, FIFA 22, etc.) to compete with each other as teams or as individuals.

Fans can join and donate Battle Power to their teams of preference. To earn more Battle Point, Players & Fans can upgrade and attach Gems to their Battle Pass.

The Validators, as in their name, will be the ones to join a Challenge to validate the result of that Challenge.

What to receive?

Players & Fans receive Battle Points as a result of a Challenge. These Battle Points will be converted into BattleFi Reward Token (RBF) via the Battle-To-Mine Mechanism at the end of the day.

By reporting the outcome and resolving any disputes between the Teams (if there is any), Validators will earn BattleFi Governance Tokens (BFT).

BattleFi Users also have a chance to receive Loot Box upon playing & donating in a Challenge.

A Challenge has 6 phases:

  1. Hosting: The host creates the challenge and sets the rule. The challenge then appears on the challenge list for everybody to join.

  2. Manual Invitation: The host/team leader can invite all their teammates to join the challenge manually.

  3. Match-making: The host starts the match-making phase. Players will join the challenge randomly through the system’s assignment.

  4. Locking: The Challenge will be locked from joining 45 minutes before getting started. If either team doesn’t have enough members, the Challenge will be canceled. Otherwise, the challenge proceeds to the next phase.

  5. In-game: The Host opens an in-game lobby and invites all the players of that challenge to join and start the game.

  6. End-game: Each Team Leader choose the corresponding in-game result to end the Challenge. The challenge’s result will be updated automatically to the BattleFi’s system.
